Reasons for Spam And Its Solution on Server

There are many reasons for why your mail is going to spam. But here we will discuss some that related to server, for other reasons go through optinmonster.

Some Of  the Reason and there solution are given Below.

 

    • SPF Record are not set in your domain DNS Record .You can check SPF Record is Present or not in DNS setting of your Control Panel(“Zone Editor” in cPanel and “DNS setting” in Plesk).Resolving: You can resolve this issue by adding spf records. To add records
      a) Click on DNS Setting in Your Control panel.
      b)Click on Add Record >> Select Record to Type “Txt”.
      c)Add your Spf record now.
      d)Its all done Now.Note: You can directly add “v=spf1 a mx -all” as SPF or You can generate SPF Record for your domain from easySPF.

 

    • DKIM Record are not set in your domain DNS Record.You can check DKIM Record is Present or not in DNS setting of your Control Panel(“Zone Editor” in cPanel and “DNS setting” in Plesk).
      Resolving: You can resolve this issue by adding DKIM records. To add records
      a) Click on DNS Setting in Your Control panel.
      b)Click on Add Record >> Select Record to Type “Txt”.
      c)Add your DKIM record now.
      d)Its all done Now.
      Note: You can generate Your DKIM Record for your domain from Port25. On Port25 “DomainKey Selector” can be any random word like “key1” or “domain”.Your DKIM Record will something like in Image given below.

      In Image Part 1 is to be added before domain in Txt Record and Part 2 to be added as a value in Txt Record. Inverted Comma should not be included.

 

    • PTR Record are not set in your domain DNS Recor. You can check whether PTR record is set or not,Visit https://intodns.com search your domain. In the result obtained you need to check for “Reverse MX A records (PTR)”. If Reverse MX records contains some value(Marked with Red, need not to be same ),Then It is fine.

      If not then you need to contact your Hosting Provider or DC to Fix the issue.

 

  •  IP Blacklisting:IP Address Used for sending mail by your Hosting Provider is black Listed. You can check whether you IP is Blacklisted or not on website MxToolbox by searching your domain in Mx LookUp of website MxToolbox and then in result Click on BlackList Check Link. Now the List will be Provided in which you can check if your IP is Blacklisted or not. If Black Listed you can Delist or ask hosting Provider to delist it.
