Shared Hosting:

Shared hosting is normally for single owner which includes single Control Panel, through which owner can access the hosting account & data. You may or may not be able to host multiple websites/domains on your shared hosting account depending on the plan that you choose from your Hosting provider. However, you will have single username for accessing this hosting account.

Apart From Single website, all other Domains/ website are Hosted as “Addon Domains” in your cPanel.
In Shared Hosting, you will not be able to provide Control Panel to your clients, if they request. As You have single Control Panel with you and  there are multiple websites of different Clients hosted.

Reseller Hosting:

Reseller hosting Accounts are meant for one owner who wishes to resell hosting and act as their own hosting company. Depending upon which reseller plan you choose.

A few added benefits to having reseller web hosting is you have the following abilities:

  • Further DNS Zone modification
  • Able to use private/branded nameservers
  • Free to create Reselling Packages as per the Need.
  • Free to Modify any Package as per the Need.

The biggest benefit to having a reseller plan is being able to separate websites into their own cPanel accounts & is certainly what we recommend when managing multiple websites. This is especially important if you plan to provide services to other companies/businesses and if you plan to host websites for your customers.
